Yes. If you are a poor student, I would either just enjoy the fact that you don't have to conform to any style norms for a few years and just go crazy or, if you are going to try the iGent thing, take acecow's advice about fit to heart.

Strongly disagree - I think the shoulders compliment his frame pretty well. I see far too many skimpy narrow shoulders around.

This. Quite like the combination of items tho.

No, but if they get pissed, it's a triple win in my book. biggrin.gif

Well, ideally both are achieved, but yeah, high quality poor fit is a useless endeavor. Tho as I recall, the fit was inoffensive, just the tie was. Derp.

This is why I post fits here.

Excellent.

Was it Alice Roosevelt who said ' If you don't have anything to say about someone ... Then sit right here next to me!'?

It just seemed like all he did was just lurk and never post a dang fit.

As a word of advice, it is generally prudent to sit back and observe when one is new to an established environment. Particularly one should take note of the length of a member's history and the volume of poasts before stepping in as a would-be savior of the downtrodden and sartorially challenged (well intentioned though it may be). If he's been around this long, and no other long-standing member has told him to stfu, probably means there is a dynamic in place about which you know little to nothing. You, my friend are a newly hatched chick on a big bad chicken farm; careful where you scratch, you may get pecked.

Actually many long standing members have told me to stfu! happy.gif

Haha, yeah I think maybe I knew that, but you're still here, right? Nonetheless, there is a certain amount of charm in your rude and offensive brusque commentary, and as you point out, you do have a fairly good eye for determining what does & doesn't work, and why. Sometimes better a thumb in the eye rather than one more in the box in order to fulfill some hopeful sycophant's dreams of entering the WAYWRN hall of fame, eh?

Really like the new framing Spoo. Gives a better idea of the pants-jacket interaction.
