Forgot to reply regarding the PS. I did wear one but was not happy with it so I ditched it for the photo. As a chef you should not serve what not belongs on the plate. I will try another square next time.

Here it is.

SVB, there are very few here who will be able to appreciate and love that tie. There are very few that will accept the context for this long lived look, regarless of its place in the sartorial history.

I however, am one of them.

I second that. The tie is pretty ridiculous, but I would wear it! I do have a penchant for slightly silly ties at times, which I like to wear to balance out the more 'classic' ties in my collection.

I like the suit too. I haven't liked your other fits so much, maybe it is just the angle or the pose, but this one looks good. Only thing I'm not sure about are the trousers. And / or the boots.

End of the week, and a new bow tie, from Seigo, a shop at Madison and 90th St., which sells virtually nothing but neckties, all imported from Japan, in every color and pattern imaginable. A very useful place if you're looking for a solid tie in a specific color, or something unusual in a pattern, or a bow tie (they've several different widths and profiles available).

Both the use of the trousers and the mixing of textures were very much inspired by some of your fits, Sir.

Thank you, Mr. Foxx. I've only gotten into wearing bow ties over the last year or two, and my attempt at wearing one today with a DB suit was inspired by Holdfast, though both his bow tie and suit are superior to mine, sad to say.

Unfortunately, the E-bay suit shown in not in my size frown.gif.

Decided to wear my favorite cold-weather sport coat and tie today just for the FC. Will be x-posting there next, once I decide if I fight for my naturalized home or my birthland.
