I got it from Loathing. I mentioned I admired it in the Good Taste thread, and I suppose he was lurking because a few minutes later he messaged me saying that he had one that he never wears and to make him an offer or possible a trade. As it turned out, he really didn't need any more ties, so he offered it to me for shipping. I turned him down, of course, and counter offered a "Korean Care Package" (I realize that the quotations make it seem like I bought him a high end hooker) composed of some high end soju and some soju glasses, a pocket square, and ramen.

My best SF experience to date.

Seriously though, there has been some serious trolling the past week or so.

indeed you did post an awesome fit, as did a few others. those posts were what kept me from punching my laptop.

Clags: Nearly wore a similar Drakes wool tie. May wear tomorrow.

Today. No time for editing.

My tribute to St. Patty's day:

Pents are dark green with Borrelli johdpurs in espresso calf.

Excellent.

BTW, I received my Post-Imperial tie the other day (HM Customs delayed it for ages) - really beautiful and I look forward to wearing it in the Summer!

I haven't read Flusser, but as a short fellow, I learned through trial & error that middling gorges suit me much better than the lower ones, so that's another datapoint at the other end of the spectrum to back this up.

Indeed!

Personally, I think a lighter-coloured tie would work better to balance out against the trouser/shoe combination. Maybe that cream/red striped one of yours?

Not my finest hour today, but in my defence I had to wake up a bit before 8, far earlier than my usual, so wasn't exactly full of the joys of Spring at that time of the day. I hate mornings...

This sentiment alone deserves a thumb.  Or at least an expression of what may be nearly universal assent.

Cheers,
