Not gonna lie. First thing I saw was a vanilla ice cream cone. Maybe that diet is a bit more urgent than I thought . . .

Maybe its an ice cream cone with the ice cream in the shape of Beethoven...

Beethoven? yes he was a dude....

The photo? Don't think so and certainly don't hope it is, because that would be tragic beyond comprehension.....

Soporific:  charcoal worsted suit, pale blue shirt with subtle self stripe, new burgundy tie, new herringbone sock, black cap toe oxfords.

Cheers,

No, it was not a suit. It was paired like this:

And I think I've found a matching tie for the "nice SC". I'll submit it for approval tomorrow.

@clarinetplayer - love that tweed suit.

Thinking the shirt choice may be wrong here. Thoughts? Any recommendations other than good old light blue?

I like everything but the tie doesn't seem to fit for some reason.  Maybe too shiny?

Whoa Nellie.  No pun intended.  Why are they doing opera in March anyway?  All I need are flowers and a hat and I'd be ready for the Easter parade. In Lent yet.  In lieu of my peak lapel white linen dinner jacket and other such attire.......  (the color of the jacket show differently in these photos; I would say its somewhere in the middle of all three).

(Brioni jacket, Peter Millar shirt, Brooks tie, generic Saks white twill pants, Lobb in lapis museum calf.)

You write with the tone of a bitter person and then act surprised when this is pointed out.

I would question your understanding of things such as tone, and words. We can agree to disagree since I feel like I'd make better progress trying to teach the alphabet to a doorknob.
