Hmmmmmm, that's what I said.

Honest.... (Click to show)

My shoes too small for yer, my gear too big for yer and I haven't a pot to p$*@ in. Other than that...

Shield your eyes @mimo.

Not terribly happy with the top and bottom halves together, but I think they look okay on their own. I think I needed a lighter SC. I wanted to wear tweed, but just couldn't figure out which color (black/white or brown herringbone, or brown houndstooth) would go with it.

It is what it is.

And damn you guys really hate kiltie tassle loafers haha.

@ridethecliche I like everything in general except the bow tie just reminds me of pee wee herman.  The SC seems to fit nice and I like me some walnut shoes.  Maybe a more toned down color bow tie would work a bit better.  Then again go big or go home.

In looking at the photos, the bow tie seems tied a little wide - shortening the neckband of the tie will narrow the width of the bow, which often (in my experience) is what causes the Pee Wee Herman effect.

Thanks. I was wondering why it looked a little weird today. I checked where it was and I must have misadjusted it in the morning. Will fix it to my collar size next wear :)

I know from firsthand experience the issue at hand - you're welcome for the insight.

I give you credit for tying your bow tie.  I have a couple clip ons

A video on Youtube done by a Southern haberdasher was most instructive - got me over the mental block I had had about tying a bow tie for several decades.

It's as easy as tying your shoelaces!

Well, it's a little more tricky than that, but it's not as hard as people imagine. My two tips from experience

1. Don't rely on the stated collar sizes when adjusting the length. You have to experiment a bit to get each different bow tie to its optimal length for your particular physical features.

2. But don't be too careful when actually tying it; with the exception of formalwear, bow ties look better when they a little bit louche.
