That's taking it up several notches in my book - and in a good way, but without losing some of the quirks. Probably my favourite fit from you for a while. It's almost always better when you put some restraints on your urge for pattern and colour.

Today I'm sporting yet another fine example from my endless selection of loud paisleys.

Canali - Ascot Chang - Atkinson's "Irish Poplin" (50/50 wool/silk) - vintage Macclesfield silk square - Oxford - Carmina

Recalling a little exchange here or on the Noddles tread. Results were ~50:50 for yay and nay.

Today I'm sporting a trifecta of items that are not entirely SF-approved - grey odd jacket, charcoal flannels and a red tie. Let the flaming begin... peepwall[1].gif

Details: (Click to show)

The built-up ropeed shoulders kill it for me.

Get rid of the roped shoulders. They make you look fey.

I get it, you don't like roped shoulders, which is entirely fine. I do and that's fine too. Let's just agree to disagree on this.....

square needs work... lighter, so it fills the contrast gap between shirt and jacket/tie.   + it needs wrangling.... but apart from that this fit roks like crazy. love the cinch sprezz on the tie
