HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 4781

I think you've mentioned this before. Still, I was struck by absence in my review last night, but 5000+ posts is a bit different to go through than 2000+ photos.

You need some more roll on that collar if you want to wear it with a tie, but wearing a vest without a tie isn't the best look either. The best thing to do would be to change the shirt or lose the tie and the vest.

What happened to me?

I generally leave images up a long amount of time - certainly weeks, if not months if I'm being lazy - so it's long enough for feedback & discussion of the outfits. I leave friday challenge outfits up for longer still, as those threads sometimes get discussed again much later. But yeah, not so great for review/composite type threads. But there are more than enough good outfits in WAYWRN that my absence from such threads is no great loss, and I have enough ego to not feel my absence from them too acutely. ;)

Kudos for going through so many posts though!!

That was exactly the problem; I agree 100%. Thing is, I was going to wear a v-neck jumper & go open-collar. Then I decided to wear the waistcoat instead of the jumper, as I didn't like the colour of the jumper against the jacket. And by that stage I already had the shirt on. Once I was wearing the waistcoat, I had to wear a tie. Oh well, such is life.

Today's fare. Very simple.

I am looking for an ecru shirt at the moment to address just such a need. A while ago I did something similar to what you suggested with a red striped shirt. Its reception was tepid, but I really liked it:

This is why I was not so worried about it.

Ecru shirts are amazing. Here is something I did recently with the one Despos made for me:

Did Despos also make the suit - it fits perfectly.

The suit is Belvest and while I like their fit for RTW, it's far from perfect.

This photo hides any issues, in that case. Very nice.

I really like what's been going over the last few days. Top half only today, as its a pants-optional day at work. So I decided to go Derk style.

Daughter picked the tie this morning.
