well I'm 5'8" and I wear a 36r. 36 S is usually cut shorter in sleeve and length. That is probably shy the jacket looks short.

It really depends on who's making the jacket. I'm also 5'8", and a regular is frequently too long for me, and the short is spot on. And I'm talking about more classic proportions, not fashionably short stuff.

with classic proportions, yes it would probably be different, but take into consideration that alot of suits these days are already cut short.

I am a middle school teacher. What's wrong with the way I am dressed??

Good luck and God bless. I taught jr. high for a year. Probably the toughest job I've every had, but also the one that taught me the most. It's really important work, but usually underpaid. Wow, some of those kids will have turned thirty this year. Sheesh I'm old.

Vintage suite from the 1950´s for 40 €. The suit smelled ugly - storage, smoke and old man. The odour still remained after dry cleaning two times and months of airing. Then I discovered the method with chemical cleaning in water called Elextrolux Lagoon. Now the odour is gone. It´s magic.

The jacket is perhaps shorter than other jackets; however, it does cover ******, as Phat Guido would suggest.

The quarters are probably a little closed. I'm also standing on my toes in front of my bathroom mirror. My ID badge is in the chest pocket underneath the right (my left) lapel. Because I had the summer off and spent it at the gym, I am much more muscular than the maker of the suit probably imagined a 38S would be. As for the jacket being a little short, I'm only 5'7...

true it covers yr ass- it may be your muscularity + long arms in proportion to yr body?
