The is the second vintage Caraceni suit that has been altered and is taken out for spin to determine any further alterations. Absolutely fantastic suits, both cloth and construction is top notch. I'm now also completely sold on roped shoulders and I will definitely be getting that on all my pieces going forward.

Did you have something drastic done to the trousers - does not look like a Caraceni cut at all?

What specifically are you referring to? I haven't done anything except drop the cuffs, but it is possible that Dirnell had them altered before he sold them to me. Also, I'm sitting down so it might be hard to judge fit, they certainly look tighter in the photo than what they are in real life - the cut is in fact quite full, at least compared to many contemporary trousers, and they come with double pleats.

It is of course indeed hard to judge when sitting down, but even then they look tight in a non Caraceni way in that shot - which Caraceni is it by the way?
