Can't tell with current pics.

Your thoughs?

I'll take another pic later. I think the jacket size is fine, but the shoulders are slightly padded. It's a vintage brooks brothers jacket so it's not supposed to be tightly fit. I have a muscular upper back and shoulders (and growing!), so I've been erring to getting jackets that are a hair on the larger side since I outgrew some of the nicer jackets I bought. Like a 38R J press navy blazer that I feel like I'll rip apart if I move the wrong way :(

I think RTC had very low (height) collars in the past which I thought didn't flatter him. This one is higher up on the neck (that was all I meant to say). But I would suggest longer collar points and more of a spread to tuck the points (the neck might be slightly too big too). Collar is a bit wrinkled, but not in a carefree way, more like a "please iron" way. Lacks the life that a nice spread collar can provide. Damn it...I was not going to get nitpicky.

In general, I like the direction RTC has been heading. A navy jacket helps. Can't say much about the fit of the jacket from that close-up shot though.

I give him thumbs up for his his progress. I still remember his first post...I wish I can delete it out of my head. LOL

You do? Hell, I don't even remember my first post. Pretty impressive!

Don't worry. I'm picking up some things slowly and having fun with it along the way.

One must, in the end, think for oneself. That orange/rust tie, awesome.

So far I am pretty happy with how the suit looks. Wonderfully constructed suit BTW....

Nice! I think the suit could use a re-press though. There are a few weird creases here & there. Smashing item!

Tie is good; actually IMO everything looks good together except the shoes, which would be better black or dark burgundy.

I’m not usually a fan of whole-cut shoes, but given the sleek severity of the rest of the outfit these are exactly right here:  a perfect Gestalt overall.

Cheers,

Agree on the need for pressing. It's been cramped into a small box for more than a week with two other "friends" going all the way from Paris to Northern Sweden. I will have all three suits pressed after I have had them tailored. Just needed to take it for a short spin today to see how it fit me after alterations.
