^ nice Roy, that's a SC and trousers right? They seem very closely matched in colour, but that may be the camera.

Thank you. Yes it is, the light is still dim in the nordic winter and messes the colours.

Mad props to @Claghorn for adjusting the colors in the full fit to look right, and a huge thanks to @Ich_Dien for the hookup on this amazing 100% cashmere Borelli SC.

Thanks, guys!

It is, but I found it at Saks for an amazing $39 :slayer:

I will give it consideration, it does look rather busy

I like yellow ties. I'm not convinced by that specific yellow tie, in this particular combination.

Some nice fits today; it's good to see some more turtleneck ideas in the thread too. I was just thinking about getting a dark green one (or maybe very dark, near-black, purple) myself...

BTW, Pingson, any askance glances you get for your yellow tie will be rapidly forgotten once folks see this bile-green one. But you know, I'm actually quite fond of it. Go figure. Equally controversial will be my choice of black shoes, I suspect! :)

Stitchy, that is indeed amazing.  You could live with this kind of countrified look a lot more, I think.  It suits you.  Big love today.

I know you are gong to hate me for saying this Stich, but that fit just screams for a coloured PS that balance out the green tie - either by picking up the green color or by contrasting it with some other equally stark colour (red, blue, you name it, anything but white really. In fact no PS would have been better than white!) - it is especially obvious in the full fit. That would have been the final piece that had pushed this into a truly outstanding fit, right now it is just very, very good nod[1].gif

rotflmao.gif I like my tie too, but we just can't please everyone, I guess. I actually don't mind the black shoes, but a darker tie would probably have made the contrast to the shoes a little less stark....

Dude! I have a Kiton cashmere coming back from the reweavers and was planning a remarkably similar fit, though my green tie was either to be a neat or a gren. Now I will feel all follow-y.

lol, i dont hate you, even though you hate every fit i post. wink.gif

i actually tried a number of PSs with this before settling on the solid white. imo, when wearing a jacket like this, that is so loud, everything else really must be solid or it gets way too busy and starts to confuse and hurt the eye. i have some PS that probably would have worked better color wise, but i found them all distracting and they were taking away more than they were adding. perhaps if i had a wider selection i could have gotten both simplicity and something to play off the green. ill take very very good for now. : )

also, i meant to tag you in my post, as you were my inspiration for doing a brown on brown fit. thanks!!!

dood. do it. i cant even count the number of fits i have copied in some way or another. one from top to bottom actually.

Stitchy, that jacket is INSANE. As in, OFF THE HOOK.

Holdfast, I too am a fan of yellow ties, this one is more muted really, and is a nice example. Only thing about the SC is that its seems a teeny bit large... its a good fit on the shoulders but the sleeves seem a bit long. Unless that's the way you like it of course. There's nothing wrong, it's probably more personal taste. But all good otherwise.

Stitchy, that whole outfit is on a whole nother level. Outstanding.

I despise yellow tie as much as this cold weather.
