I'm enjoying my CW Ties as well. Haven't tried any of the melange's (have two CWs, both Shantung though some I know in SF find those too slubby, I like them).

I know what you mean about PS...was hard to start wearing them, but once I got in the habit (and it is a habit) hard to stop as I feel a bit "naked" without one now.

Wearing a tie, surprisingly, is already odd on my campus among profs, but wearing a pocket square...!

Thanks.

Good observation. I am still struggling with my weight, hence, the tightness on the jacket. The pants, I've always felt like they were a bit too baggy and a tad bit long but my ex-tailor always said they're fine. I come to find out he just didn't want to work on my stuff because they were low price and he just sent me away. Since then I found a much better tailor that I plan on visiting soon to fix this pants issue.

I missed that.

It is Ermenegildo Zegna.

How is it that I miss all these great stuff from Zegna when that used to be the only place I shop at? You got a nice set of eyes and some good taste. That jacket and the tie combo was epic.

Thanks for the thumbs yesterday.

Today, I was playing around with the options for the friends and family challenge. Full shot is what I ultimately went with, but here are the two options.

LuxeSwap my Noodle Roooodals friend. :fonz: The cut of the new Zegna stuff is way too slim.

What do I know, but...I like the blue grenadine better. The square, however, seems a little incongruous, the pink/orange and lavender seems the wrong season (and the addition of the brown with dots a bit over the top). I prefer a more sedate puff.

I really like the pattern on that jacket. Wish I could find one.

Agreed, I prefer the navy tie but not crazy about the PS. Funnily enough I think the Lavender / Pink goes better with the brown tie, but there you go.

I'm not sure how to know that from a picture, but it might account for the tightness around the midriff too.

Also exemplary choice of tie for someone who wears blue suits within constraints of CBD: Noodles, nota bene...

CP, you've always seemed a man of fine taste since I've been reading, but the last few months you seem to have cranked everything up a notch.  I think it all began with that insane windowpane suit you bought.  This is just effortlessly wonderful.

There has some been some really great stuff here over the last five or so pages. You knuckleheads are starting to motivate me to step up my game...well done guys.

@clarinetplayer - That square is awesome. Would love to have that in the rotation.
