Nice picture here. But your head does look quite large relatively. Maybe the angle of the picture?

Ok, here is another picture in a more natural stance.
I agree that the jacket is a tad short.

Yeah, tim the cut and the height of the trousers make you look a bit squat. I have seen enough of your pictures to know that you aren't.

Do you think, if I used a navy tie, say, (and switched the PS) it would pull it all together?

I think there's general discordancy between the fabric and color of the trousers and jacket. The wrinkles don't help, but I'd feel the same if they weren't there.

I don't like the solid red tie against white shirt. I don't think the pocketsquare goes well with this. :(

Not trying to change your mind, but the shirt is blue, the tie is wine and navy, and the PS is light and medium blues as here:

Hello again!
This is just my second time posting pics here...
(Jacket sleeves are too long, I know; but they having working cuffs -my fault! - , there's no easy remedy).

NOTE: for some reason the first pic refuses to stand upright - I assure you it is correctly positioned in my photo file URL, but on linking it here, it rotates :paranoia:.

The question is, are you going for a personal style statement with this look or are you attempting conservative business dress? If it is the former, then more power to you. If it is the latter, I will have to start a paragraph. :embar:

timotune, I like this. I don't agree at all with the criticism concerning the jacket length, as a more half-butt length is just better with overall more informal and (I guess there's no other word for it) but Pitti look. :fistbump: Personally I wouldn't want to see a casual cotton jacket like this in full length. A suit is a totally different thing, and a full-length jacket does its job there.

I would however take an centimeter or 1.5 from the shoulder width. Fit along the body is perfect. Pants are good as well, and even though I would go for one fold less they match your style so well done. Also a distictive personal preference here, I assume.

well clearly you wouldn't...

don't want to be a killjoy but it looks like you're wearing your little brother's jacket here. You pushed the tight & cropped look beyond the line. timotune's coat looks short but he's still within the lines of acceptable.

ColdEyePugilist, your shoulders look so right I can't stress that enough. Also nice tie. A bit colorless but not really dull at all, due to the immaculate fit (at least where we can see) and a nice tie. Pretty formal workplace perhaps?

IanGP, I think your jacket is a tad too wide from the shoulders. Also the tie could be wider (that's a 3.25 is it?) or one that gets wider sooner to the end. Also having looked at your often very good pics, I would think about a half an inch or 0.75 shorter jackets would be better. :)

^^ Well, that's your opinion, and I gladly take it as contructive criticism. :) The jacket length is however a conscious choice for this type of jacket and stays that way. I wouldn't wear a suit with that long of a jacket, but here and within this kind of combination I feel it could not be more than a half an inch longer.

Very nice. Was the pic taken at Casa Dei Tessuti?

Thanks. Picture was taken at W. Jungmann & Neffe in Vienna.

hard to tell, but it seems the tie is too short.
also, are you wearing jeans? if so, i think the jacket is to dressy for jeans.
great pic tho. ill PM you my address, send me some noice fabrics, mkay? :)

They are shipping worldwide...
I am wearing jeans, yes. Seemed to work well. The tie isn't hanging straight, but the length is good overall.

Please grab some billiard felt for me while you're there.

The green tweed to my right, for instance?
