Welcome back, Pingson. Looking good.

I think the issue here is that the tie is the star of this outfit, so everything else should be toned down to feature it. Also, solid red squares are pretty tough to pull off. But the tie is very nice.

That SC inlove.gif . Seeing this pic finally convinces me that a gun club jacket must have a noticeable red over-check, there are far too many watered-down versions out there where the red check is just missing or too muted. And it pairs so nicely with that bottle green tie, hats off!!

Love that suit Timo.
Looked on SS website and the one I see is described as 'brown'. Not sure if that's exactly yours but yours looks gray to me not brown. Anyway, excellent fit.

Did you go with black leather shoes or snuff suede? I reckon either would work.

Thanks.

The true color is a grey-ish brown.
I am wearing brown suede shoes with it right now.

Elegant as always Timo.

First time wearing this jacket.  Needs to go to the tailor to get the sleeves lengthened a bit other than that it fits really good for off the rack.

Any suggestions on pocket squares to go with this?

Seems like the sleeves are fine. It's a well fitting jacket, so I hope you've the matching pants to go with it somewhere. I don't have the same knee jerk reaction to an orphan suit jacket that many do around here--but with the peak lapels, that's really pushing it.

A white linen square would've been a better option. If you want silk, probably anything with a navy as a secondary color provided it doesnt clash.

I'd go with white too. Deets on the shirt?

Here's me today. Trying out a contrast shirt, never wore one before. I was a little disappointed with the collars of this shirt when I got it, I thought they'd be a little wider / longer. Also the sleeves are a little long, but that's my cross to bear. :)

The tie is one of the 8 my friend gave me over Christmas (that he was clearing out). Free ties!

I don't think it is part of a suit. Here is another picture. The material actually feels like a lightweight tweed. I could be wrong though.

OK, here's the same jacket as yesterday, no sweater and with mimo-friendly legwear. What do you guys think?

Amazing how I see myself differently in these photos. Every fault is glaringly clear...

Variations on a theme - a different grey glen plaid three-piece suit than yesterday, with new tie and new shoes. Same climatic conditions, however, hence the hat and two scarves.

Suit - BB
Shirt - Lewin
Tie - BB
PS - PRL
Cufflinks - Wedgwood
Shoes - Magnanni for Bergdorf Goodman
Overcoat - BB
Silk/cashmere scarf - Fortnum & Mason
Striped scarf - Ryder & Ames, Cambridge

Among other funny things, yes. The experiment was would the shoulder dimple disappear without the sweater I wore yesterday. Fail.
