SF rule #56 - Members require a minimum post count of 1000 before they can post gratuitous crotch shots.

Nice. Yeah, sucks for me. I really want a dark brown suede cap toe. Leaning towards the Meermin hand welted. Super reasonable price and Carminas are a better fit on my foot.

Instead of dilly-dallying on this Forum, I really need to get back outside and do more shoveling. The snowfall just won't quit. There's always time, however, for a cuppa.

Cleav, good to hear. Maybe sometime in a few months. I needs to put the brakes in for now.

The trousers are outstanding! I really like the pocket and side adjuster. But, of equal interest, is that futuristic elevator you are riding. biggrin.gif

My thoughts and process (Click to show)
I started with the shirt. It was a little warmer today, so light oink felt okay, and I really like the collar of this shirt. I decided on the pants next. I like the fit on these, and the warmer weather felt like it made cotton pants a viable option.Next I chose the jacket. I wanted something that contrasted well with the pants, but didn't feel too formal for cotton pants. I actually struggled a bit with this choice and settled on this navy SC. Next I selected my tie. I also struggled here as I felt that the jacket wanted a nicer tie while the pants wanted a knit or something similarly less formal. I settled on this printed silk one because it hit the palette well, it may be seriously too formal for the rest of the fit, not sure. I finally chose some shoes that I felt matched the more casual nature of the pants.

Overall, I am concerned about the formality levels of the various pieces not lining up and telling different stories.

Feedback and criticisms welcomed.
