You don't have to be a clone of someone on SF, but take a look at several pictures of your favourite SF posters who inspire you to dress well, then ask yourself what it is about their fits that you think looks good. I guarantee none of them combine an all solid fit with such non complimentary colours. It's like you've learned nothing.

Expect better things from me starting in the new year. I just set my floor.

I don't think a dark shirt/light sportcoat looks bad without a tie. I've seen several guys in this thread who looked great with the look. Maybe a white linen PS would've been better too.

The guy on NCIS wears that look all the time and pulls it off.

Texture for days. I like it all. Would prefer a slightly darker tie with all that but I think it does look very nice.

Final rehearsals for Christmas eve are finished. Time to run home, change, and return.

Peace on earth to all of good will!

I think that the issue is more so that it's not CM. I probably won't stop wearing stuff like that, but I'm definitely going to stop posting it haha.

Is that the Olive Melange?

The definition of insanity may be repeating the same act expecting a different result, but in my defense, these are different jeans than you have made fun of previously.
On an unrelated note, please excuse the casual digression.

All very nice looks, gents.

Here's what I was wearing for our Xmas party. I know the pants need tapering, the jacket is just way too big and wearing pillows under a coat to compensate is not recommended by Flusser, and the hat is a little too matchy with the beard, but the eagle-eyed of you will notice the smoke Rider Oslo boots...

Ho ho ho... and here's what I was wearing for the rest of the party:

Deets: Avon House 3-piece Moon tweed suit, Engineered Garments bow-tie, Santa-hat hair, son...

Happy Holidays to you all!

Is it just me or do @EFV and @FlyingMonkey share an uncanny resemblance?

Well, we're both partial to facial hair, bow ties and 3-piece tweed suits. I take it as a compliment.

And similar tastes in suits too... but I am guessing he's significantly taller than me, with him being Scandanavian and all...
