I almost got that tie, but HC knows my taste and warned me off.

I really wish more AV's were as involved with the community as he is.
Just to touch on this a bit too, after reading the forum feels clogged thread, I think it's important as an affiliate vendor on a platform like this forum not just to try and advertise your product endlessly and that's all. You should also join in the conversation and use your experience in the industry to help, give feedback etc etc whether they are interested in your product or not.

I can see on that thread, that the number of vendors these days is getting bigger and bigger and many on the forum don't feel it's a good thing, which I agree to an extent. I think vendors should be vetted more to fit in the end of the market SF does. For example places like Elite suits and Hiros don't really fit the mould all that well in my opinion. Anyway the vendors that are generally the most successful are those that engage, be friendly, join in, give advice and then also have a good, unique product to sell. I hope that I tick a few of those boxes at least.

New suit from Oxxford clothes and I am very satisfied with the fit and the cloth.

Amazing, Mimo. Is there an event, or is this just an average day for you? That is a Take No Prisoners or Bullshit Fit for sure.

And if that tie isn't CBD, I do not know what is.

PS - Robert Talbott
Braces - Trafalgar, via Barney's NYC

Nick

You are on fire. I have three daughters and am prepared to discuss marriage and dowry.

But - minor nitpicking from an old man's perspective - the shoes are too light and the rise is too low.

Already married with kids my friend!

Shoes could be darker for sure but I like more casual nature they add to the suit (which is actually 100% raw silk so it has a tone of texture IRL). Rise could be a tad higher, although the rise itself is pretty good, the main problem is my love of pasta...The button point (and jacket length) should be about 1.5 - 2cm lower so that they meet in the middle better. The suit is a sample 48L, not MTM so the fit isn't perfect but certainly better than 99.9% of what else is out there in RTW

Any plans for selling Eidos in London or online?

My first time wearing a bow tie. It looked a little awkward at first, but is quickly growing on me.

I'm really liking this - that's an unusual stripe on the suit, right? It looks really good though. The tie / shirt combo works for me. I'm gonna be inspired for my next choices by this fit! ;-)

Are those suede shoes? Did you get them wet (looking at the toes)

Suit is a raw silk so the stripe is an uneven, slubbed yarn. Shoes are indeed suede - its raining in NYC!
