Can I come? I'm liken that a lot CP.

Enjoy your evening

Every voice counts! In desperate need of another tenor.
Carols sound even better in Latin!

Is there something between bass and tenor? I think that's where I am.

Something has to be better in French.

Zoinks! Is this latent frustration with your Francophone countrymen?

Appreciate that, SB. Is it the tie, hank or socks that you're opposed to? Or perhaps all three?

In descending order of dislike:

Hank
Tie
Sweater

Or, I could just be pissy because I'd rather not be at work. smile.gif I like the hank, but with something else. Not sure about the tie generally. Just don't want to see a sweater with these combos.

Baritone is between bass and tenor.

You should try listening to people speak dutch or flemish.

Personally, I love this tie (esp the colors).

In small doses.

Which means I can't bring myself to wear it without some kind of a fig leaf, like a sweater or a waistcoat. And this particular sweater (or its color, anyway) was suggested the last time I wore Jacket #1, in that instance with a green sweater and folks concluded I should have tried something in the brown family.

And I will kop that the hank was a fairly last minute add by default, since I couldn't commit to silk vs wool vs cashmere, so I just grabbed the first thing with semi-coherent colors.

Last day of school this year.  I'm off to Italy on Monday.  The shirt, tie, jacket are all pretty dark.  I added a white pocket square and a silk knot to add some contrast.  New shoes (Johnston and Murphy suede semi brogue bluchers) and scarf.

Latent?  No, it's been well established for some time, lol.

It sounds like I probably shouldn't, actually :P

I had the day off from work, and had the chance to experiment a bit - channeling my inner Orville Redenbacher, as it turned out.

Sports jacket, trousers, tie, and shoes - BB
Shirt - LE
PS - no name brand
Cap - James Dermot, London
Scarf - Johnston's of Elgin

I like that jacket, but think the yellow sleeve should be hunter green.  Plus it's $300.  I'll pass.

I really like this outfit, but when you wear this jacket, the grain/bias of the fabric (indicated by the red lines) always seems strange:

What up with that? (Click to show)

Made me think of this.

(there's some deeply unhelpful chocolate/vanilla thing to be riffed on there, but you know what I mean...)

2nd attempt of the loud shirt.

Also, could use any input you have on my new suit. I haven't been to the tailor yet so please excuse the sloppiness. So far I plan to lengthen sleeves by 1" and hem trousers roughly 1.5" or so and increase the cuff to 2". Anything else you guys can see? The gorge is a tad lower than i prefer, is it unwearable? Thanks!
