I see the socks. nod[1].gif Still, as nice as your fit is (very), it lacks the maniacal commitment of AAS' black watch rave.

No full pic. Cleaning lady was in the heezy, and I couldn't bring myself to stand in the middle of the living room while she vacuumed around me. shog[1].gif

Time to finish up some Xmas shopping and lunch at plaza food hall!
Borrelli lux vintage black and brown sport coat, zero padding or structure
Billy Reid casual button down shirt
Denim
Suede boots

I'm beginning to fall in love with unstructured jackets and am eyeing them more and more lately. I think I will be accumulating quite a few over the next few months. Really looking forward to wearing some of them a lot in spring/summer.

Gents - I'm seeking a few pairs of winter-weight trousers to pair with a heavier, herringbone sport jacket. I was thinking flannel or wool twill. I'd like something with a slimmer, more contemporary cut, but not too slim. Also, something not exorbitantly priced (what with 2 kids and the typical holiday expenses mounting).  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. As someone who is also building up a proper wardrobe, I am in absolute awe of some of your collections. Thanks.

Stitchoid, that's very silly.  But fun. :)

Butch...if I saw that tie in isolation I'd be wary of it, but that combo really sings.  Masterly.

ETB: if I've understood your proportions correctly, you most definitely have to sell me that coat.  Please.  I can meet you on Vigo Street in about three weeks.  Bring the sweets.

You guys must vote Roycru for the win this week, though. If you haven't see his hilarious pic yet, go take a look.

I'm not sure I like the way that overcoat falls. It looks like it balloons to the sides too much...
