You knew you were going to get some stick for this, but you know what, I kind of like the suit. I would never wear it for work (regardless of job, unless it's a bar or restaurant near a sunny subtropical beach), but as a suit to wear for an al fresco lunch and lazy afternoon at the bar with a drink or two on a sunny holiday, I can definitely see the appeal. I do think that pvrhye and aeglus are right to advise different colour accessories and other details to bring the best in it out though.

And here is a little something I wore yesterday.
Love the suit, but would prefer it even more without the waistcoat. Was going to wear a red silk square (or a white with red borders linen) with this look. In the end, I figured there was already enough highly co-ordinated red/cream in it, much as I love the contrast between those colours. The square would have been one step too close to feeling like I was interviewing to be a TGI Friday's manager...
