Pretty sweet, IST. Like it. It's my inner Magnum PI... You knew you were going to get some stick for this, but you know what, I kind of like the suit. I would never wear it for work (regardless of job, unless it's a bar or restaurant near a sunny subtropical beach), but as a suit to wear for an al fresco lunch and lazy afternoon at the bar with a drink or two on a sunny holiday, I can definitely see the appeal. I do think that pvrhye and aeglus are right to advise different colour accessories and other details to bring the best in it out though. Any page with a polar bear's arse on it is, by definition, a good page. Love the suit, but would prefer it even more without the waistcoat. Was going to wear a red silk square (or a white with red borders linen) with this look. In the end, I figured there was already enough highly co-ordinated red/cream in it, much as I love the contrast between those colours. The square would have been one step too close to feeling like I was interviewing to be a TGI Friday's manager...

I decided to put my first post here.

Here is a very typical dark navy suit combination. (sorry for the blurry picture.)

I like the jacket but the shirt-tie combo doesn't work. Too matchy, for starters. Solid light blue shirt and a different tie.
