HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 4292

Here's my third first attempt

(2Legit2Quit)

(Slightly terrified)

I really like these shoes, but what do you lot think? I like the simplicity of the look and the cap toe. Probably interview shoes for me, no? I'll condition and polish them again soon.

Orange Monster on a nato strap.

First attempt at scarf wearing (of the week, I should add, not in my life).

Where do you live that you've never worn a scarf before!?!?!?!

Great watch, I have it as well and I love it.

Having said that, I'd never wear it in a formal or semi-formal setting. It shines at the beach, don't bring it to boring meeting rooms. :D

Haha, I was going to be jealous while simultaneously giving you props for wearing one for the first time ever just for a challenge :)

It's a fun little timepiece. I'm on the hunt for an affordable slim automatic lately. Might get something from orient or citizen for next fall...

That said, I can get away with mixing it up a little bit here sometimes. I have a hamilton for the days when I just can't. I would never wear this to an interview, for instance!

Ditto, on all counts!

fit is a big improvement over the past ones. bow tie looks too big though (admittedly, im no expert on that), and is too matchy with the PS, looks like they were sold as a set almost. and love or hate the watch, it does not jive with the rest of the fit imo.

Is that some sort of scarf that you tied into a bow?

Kirby, why were you reluctant to get black shoes?

My opinion on black and brown shoes is that if you are having something made (these were MTO), you should spent the $$ on something that you couldn't buy RTW. And how many black shoes does a man really need? Three? Same with brown. I have plenty of brown shoes. If I am going to purchase any additional shoes, I have decided that they must be more interesting.

Also had a pair of burgundy GG shoes made that are just stunning.

Thanks. Yeah, luckily I get to wear whatever I want to work. However, since I work for myself and only have two employees, I also find that I don't dress up all that often (it's easy not to). However, I've recently gotten into 3x1 bespoke jeans and am currently obsessing. I primarily wear denim with a pair of nice shoes, dress shirt, and (often) odd jacket. It works for me. However, I have never been 100% happy with a pair of jeans. If you find the fit you like, they change it. If you find a type of denim you love, you hate the fit. If you fall absolutely in love with a pair of jeans, you can't ever have them copied.

Well, with 3x1, this all changes. Bespoke in the truest sense. They fit everything I disliked about the fit of my jeans, and then I can have them made in as many different denims as possible. Check out these latest swatches:

The lighter blue and grey denims are cotton/silk blends from an Italian mill. Incredibly soft and light.

The black denim is even more incredible. It has a red weft that produces an incredibly subtle depth to the denim.

Anyway... random musings amongst the only people who would understand my obsessions...
