HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 4260

GMMcL: I like this suit. It fits you well, but I'm a bit uncertain about the PS, that seems to correspond more to the bush than to what you are wearing.

This is a little behind, but this is a great example of holding on to a strong sense of personal style while taking some feedback from the community, and it looks great.

Going back to your initial question, you are not alone in that observation. No pun intended. satisfied.gif

Great minds obviously think alike.......

Thanks (and thanks for all the thumbs, dudes.)

It's hard to see, but there's a very faint shade of green in the check of my shirt that mates with the green dots in the square, plus the burgundy ties with the shoes. I toyed with other squares that were closer to the tie/shirt, but I just liked this contrast.

GMMcl - great suit! Stitchy - great jacket! Mimo - great tie!

Clags - that jacket fits you very well, great fit, happy birthday.

Need your guys' opinion on the jacket - too short? too tight? weird color/pattern/fabric/styling? Or is it redeemable?

The weave does look like twill. Whatever it is, it's very nice :)

Unfortunately both short and tight, hard to imagine that it is possible to solve both problems. I love the pattern though - these large-scale patterned SCs have been hard to find for long time, but seem to have been making a comeback recently. Maybe not the most versatile colours, though.

On twill silk ties the "ribs" are not very noticeable, and since cloth is cut on the bias, they usually run in vertical or almost vertical.

What he said......

On my tie (that arguably is very similar to Stitch's) the ribs are almost perfectly vertical, which would indicate that the tie being cut on a bias ....

Edit: here's a pic, the "ribs" are best seen on the knot
