HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 4218

Hello venerable gents. It is with deference that I obsequiously submit my first post in what I esteem as the quintessential colloquium of consummate sartorial impeccability.

Good news everybody. I've just commissioned (is there a better word for that? it feels so pretentious) another navy blazer. Subtle herringbone, with 3 patch pockets and MoP buttons. This will bring my total of solid navy blazers to 5. In addition, I believe another pair of HY trou arrived today, so I now have a total of 7 pairs of gray trousers. You too can achieve this dream. This crazy, obsessive dream. Next windfall, I'm buying 2 pairs of brown cordovan park aves (each worn 1.5 times a week, should last me well over a decade, properly cared for, yes?).

I'm on board with your obsession (minus the AE PAs) and I'm slowly building a closet full of gray trousers and navy blazers. Can't get enough of them...ultimate versatility.

AAS, you should get a fun shirt like this: http://www.styleforum.net/t/275650/the-state-of-black-tie-your-observations/1700_50#post_6681154 Obviously, you might want to go with black watch for the non-white parts.

From top to bottom, everything is sharp and interesting. Great details.

The jacket looks big in the shoulders or am I wrong?

4 patterns + 1 solid, Luciano would be very proud. While I like every element, and the shirt/tie/PS and SC/tie/PS combos are great, I'm not 100% convinced by the SC-shirt combo. I guess it's due to the similarly sized patterns.
