Just ask him where he got it. A caveat: The last time I asked him about a tie he nearly twisted my arm until I bought it.

Entirely possible. Literally selected and got dressed in less than a minute this morning. I would have preferred a lighter blue shirt or white shirt, but either would have required washing or ironing. So it goes...
