My only gauge as to whether I dressed well is just based on thumbs up. I don't get feedback very much but I get some good help from some good people here via PM. So I try to observe and analyze what you guys have done and try to learn. You guys are great and I can only appreciate. But I think I come across a bit annoying even when I am joking. Maybe it is because I had one big meltdown the first time I came to WAYWRN.

this is good stuff. the best way to make your jokes more apparent would be to tempter them a little and use emoticons. imho that is.

yes he has. though i cant recall pingson ever dressing not well.

do not put too much stock into thumbs. srsly. i have seem great fits that get few thumbs and fits i dont particularly love that get many.

i will endeavor to provide you feedback on your future fits.

@ Owen Meany that's a great looking tie and interesting watch which I don't recognize. Please share the makers if you're still looking in. Thanks.

I like the top half and I like the bottom half, just not together. Something seems a little off when you're wearing a brown tie with black shoes, but that might just be me.

This. That last fit was a stinker. But I learn a lot from the feedback each time.

I've noticed that when folks wear their pants short they can look like floods if not slim enough at the opening. Imo, you could get away with slimming the trousers at the opening. That overhang in the back causes that "flood" look imo. Really like the color combination and texture.

I've noticed that too. And don't worry, I've spent much of my life wearing far, far worse things...

Welcome! My thoughts:

 - Shirt looks nice.

 - Tie is a bit shiny for my taste and the scale of the pattern is too close to the jacket.

 - Square too matchy-matchy (at least from the pic) with the tie and has exploded from your pocket (it happens).

 - That a SC or a suit? Pattern says SC, but color says suit.

I really like all the pieces here (especially sweater and shoes), but to me the fair isle looks a little incongruous with the formality of the suit. Just my .2

Looks good. Sweater, shirt and shoes really help casual-ize the suit. Wear the same thing with a flannel suit and I think it would be even better.
