Yeah I suppose to some extent but maybe I started absorbing a bit of Holdfast's view whereby he likes to wear brighter clothes in the winter to elevate him from the dull weather. I wear navy and dark red grenadines more often, the green is on probation and I have a dark wine Paul Winston Chipps garza fina that's for sale as I doubt I will ever wear it again!

Gingham, dots, stripes, and tweed.

Classic business dress - of which a navy pinstripe suit would be an excellent example.  Your shoes (and I'm ignoring the shirt!) transform that image into something much more laid back, and I like the look.

That's a gorgeous suit.  I'm sure if you stroke it a bit, you'll be back to your best in no time.

I wasn't able to keep up with the forums over the weekend, so I just saw the Friday Challenge devastation. My faith has been rattled. (We have Spoo!)

Oh well, I'm taking my Dad to Vegas for the rest of the week as an early 70th birthday present, so I shan't be depressed for long.

Whoah, hold the phone, call off the dogs, I like them too, probably have about eight in total, four each grossa and fina, just on the fence about the dark forest green and noticed the dark wine one hasn't been worn in ages - probably because when a grenadine is called for I default to navy / dark red / burgundy, so its for sale.

I also got a black garza fina which has yet to be worn. It replaced a satin silk tie I had, and will be fine if I'm ever required to attend a funeral. But I'm of the opinion that ties offer the chance for a splash of colour in otherwise sedate backgrounds (navy/ charcoal suit, solid or blue striped shirt) so despite the general adoration of black knit or grenadine ties by the SF intelligentsia, any time I consider wearing a black tie I decide to go for something more colorful instead.

I like everything about this, only wish that the collar was a cutaway that was a bit more proportionate to the gorge of the lapel. Beyond that, I love the look! That PS is really nice.

Nice CD, both fit and colours.

I just find the PS a bit disconnected form the rest.

Thanks! You're looking good yourself.
