AAS - that jacket is great.

Semi-casual Friday. Jacket is actually dark brown corduroy:

I almost wore this hat today too.  It wasn't cold enough.

Personally, I think this is outstanding, including the tie choice.

I don't think it's bad at all either. Thank God it wasn't cold enough for that hat.

Yeah, that hat would have been a disaster. A simple dark grey fedora would have worked, IMHO.

Went with the consensus. Couldn't do much about trouser contrast though - limited wardrobe here in Shanghai. (Pics taken at Jiangsu Road metro station)

Alright Cox, what's with all the subway pictures? Have you gotten friendly with some of the metro staff?
That's the first-ever metro pic. The green tile hell is my balcony.

Did you get any pics of the subway glory holes after you were picked up?

Neither are true. I wish one of them was.

Please excuse the mess in the background and the iCrap picture quality...

Suit seems to fit very well. The matchy shirt, tie and square won't get a lot of love 'round here, although personally I think it's an effective look.

But for sure we need better pix. Outdoor lighting and someone else operating the iCrap would both help.

I don't speak spanish and I can say with certainty, "no bueno."

Snark: you look like a partially peeled avocado.

Not snark: the green on green on green (really, any time the tie and shirt are matching shades of the same color, or matching color besides blue) is not a great look. You want the color block to be broken up. There is no contrast between the shirt and tie and that creates an awkward look. That's partially why you don't see darker shirts worn with ties. The matching pocket square comes across as a bit Mens Warehouse-y or sports announcer-ish. And your cuffs are undone.
