Very credible, acrid. Can't tell what color the suit is, though, because it looks so different in each pic. It might not be working all that well with those shoes, depending on the color. And I think the socks should be a lighter color in any case.

I think the colors here work very well together, and I'm not among those who find the tie/PS combo overly busy. I'm troubled by the fit of the suit, though, but I can't comment on it intelligently b/c the photos aren't very good. Tie's a little short, by the way.

I love when people quote posts that are over 2 years old.

Gotta run now, busy day running around car shopping & trying a new hat! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

The full version of that post (as opposed to the good taste thread one) is really wonderful -- such a happy moment that a compliment on the watch seems out of place, but nevertheless: Nice watch. It looks better on the wrist than in product shots.

I endorse just about everything about this. You make a very sharp family, Stitch.

----

Thanks again for more thumbs yesterday.

I reached for blackwatch today. But I couldn't pull it together. Plus, I've got the weight of the Nation on my shoulders (in the form of the weekly challenge -- not really, obvously), so I went a little safer.

As a fellow father of three, what I can't believe is how you get to buy so much cool stuff!  But my no.1 is about to be 16; it gets worse....

Anyway, great look today, and many happy returns to Stitchette. :)

You went great.  But shell or not, I can't help but feel loafers are a little alien to such an autumnal outfit, unless it were really dressed down e.g. cords and a light sweater for lounging about in your library.  Great colours though...if there were boots or NSTs or derbies on the end of your legs, it would be perfect.

Fit on these trousers is poor and made a lot worse by cramming cigarette boxes/phones/laptops into your front pockets. You either need looser strides or a rethink and re-edit of the contents and storage of your daily carries.

If you go back to mimo's post, Stitchy, you'll see he was referring to GMMcL's post.
