Now this is one I really want to see a full body shot of, because I am just not convinced the (quite casual) white trousers work with the (not to casual) top half - but I could be convinced, if I could see how they actually went together.

thanks for the comment CD.  gotta new fav maker; really like the Cappelli shape cos it's broad at the neck, making a thick knot.  the silk's nice too.

rocking SC- like the Deco on it

nice suit, clagenson. awesome buttons too. is it new?

Newish. I just hadn't had a need to wear it since getting it earlier in spring. Suits are rotated through much more slowly than odd jackets/trou. Contemplating using that jacket as an odd jacket (I have one almost identical, but it's a bit short for my tastes).

glad you got it in the rotation, mang. who makes your stuff?

Mid-tier Korean tailor. Nothing to write home about, but fully canvassed. They also let me cmt, which is really nice since a lot of tailors really markup the cost of fabric (upward a grand for Scabal).

My only real complaint with them is the shoulders. I wish they could do bald, but they fucked up the one attempt (and remade the jacket). In general, they have a bad habit of not telling me what they can and can't handle. Another example of this is a windowpane fabric I brought in. They didn't have enough fabric to properly make the third patch pocket (breast), and instead of calling me to tell me (and suggest welt), they just stuck what they had on there and now it's slightly askew.

But they have my pattern down. And the floor assistants or whatever are very pretty. And I can just drop fabric off and come back a few weeks later. So all and all, I'm pleased.
