I hate to say it, because his stuff was so well made and so awesome in many ways, but a man of his stature has no business wearing a coat that long or 2 inch cuffs. This, of course, being said after my comment about 'who care what people think of the way you dress', lol.

In fairness, he has admitted on numerous occasions that his style is a bit quirky and goes against conventional wisdom. Which kind of jars with his prescriptive attitude toward the clothes of others, but I don't fault anyone for displaying a little duality.

On another score, I have to say that the general quality of the contributions to this thread has picked up considerably over the last months or so. I have no idea what this is reflective of, but I like it!

Spoo, is that new? Really sharp in any case...

When is your first three-piece of the season going to come out? That's when I know it is time to bring in the patio furniture.

Re: Spoo

I thought my fit today was pretty good. I am now completely humbled.

The temperature must start with a 4 or 5 for that to happen.

Thanks, everyone. I think the shirt collar is just a little large, but the points are a little short. Not letting that stop me for the moment, though my next sartorial purchase is going to be some nicer shirts.

The tie pattern is a little out of my wheelhouse, but I knew I would get a lot of use out of a purple madder.

Really nice, Spoo!

Nope. I wasn't ribbing. I was being insulting. I think he's a pompous ass and deserving of insults. But I should've kept it out of the thread. My apologies to anyone who has delicate sensitivities.
