Jeans are almost always bad. There. I said it.
Consider yourself vindicated, BB. I am unreasonable. :)
Interesting observation, I agree with you, the shoulders does flatter your frame, but I feel that it's a more "formal" look, which can be good or bad depending on your lifestyle. As my taste is concerned, I'd like to see you in the F&H's draped torso with a longer length and more extended shoulder, keeping the slope with a bit more roping. Yeah, I'm a believer . However, you do have a physique that can pull off different silhouette styles, enjoy.
Regarding the square, Rubinacci has some patterned squares with cream as the base color, it'd complement your wardrobe.
I think most of the opinions expressed here were individual opinions, i.e. I will not judge other's for what they're wearing. Others might very well judge me, and to continue with stitches point, other people's opinions do not always affect one negatively. It very much depends on ones profession, role in society and location.

I agree with estitchy and Caustic Man.
Good point. When you put it that way it makes perfect sense. You know, I used to be a hardcore punk rocker in my younger and more vulnerable years (for too many moons ago), and although my outward appearance has changed drastically, my radical love of going against the grain has not. For better or worse. lol
Rarely, but also, I think the thing with jeans is that there's always something you could be wearing that's better: tweed sports jacket and...coloured twills? Corduroy? Flannel? I have definitely been known to wear jeans with a jacket and no tie, and it's a nice comfortable, casual look for a grown man. But really, unless you're Iggy Pop, blue denim could always be swapped for a better option I feel.
I don't think I'd ever go anywhere near "barbecue sauce" by choice.
