I like the shawl collar cardigan a lot. I´m searching myself for a brown or navy one. Who is the producer?

Jeans and a tie are the Devil's work.  But as cardigans go, that's rather nice.  :)

I wore brown for the challenge.  I hope this jacket is brown enough.

I yanked off the tie. I agree (or have been convinced) that this shirt shouldn't be worn with a tie. And I have a feeling that someone is going chime in and say that that jacket is too formal for that shirt and yadiyadiyada. I hope to have a better week next week. This week was bombshell after bombshell. Shame on me!

And here a little bonus shot. Yesterday a TKmaxx store opened in my town and the only workable pair of shoes in my size was this Florsheim Imperial Norwegian. I was searching a long time for exactly a pair of shoes like these ones:

Compared to the Allen Edmonds Cambridge I weared before, which pair of shoes you prefer with a grey flanell trouser?

So that AE is a really great looking (if somewhat ornate) wingtip. That split toe Florsheim thing looks, IMHO, pretty cheap (perhaps it is just the photo). Once upon a time Florsheim made great shoes. Nowadays I wouldn't even put them at Johnston & Murphy level (at least J&M still makes some nice US made shoes at the high-end of their lineup).

You are learning, young padawan.

Monkeyface, love the cardigan, but agree the pants are a bit too tapered.

I think the photo makes the main part of the effect looking cheap. Here the Photo from the afternoon and from now under artificial light:

Had an interview today.

Very solid and professional. Some minor fit issues, but none that your typical interviewer would notice. Some here would say "no" to a pocket silk for an interview, and think black shoes might be a safer choice, but I think it is a great look and I am sure you made an excellent impression.

Thanks! The interview went really well.

What are the fit issues you're referring too?

Remove the chunky ass belt and replace it with a slim one or none at all and you will have the juice

None that I would mention, because I am not one of those guys! LOL

What kind of job are you going after?

mimo, I'm sitting on the floor of a terminal at O'Hare (because that's the only way I can use and charge my phone simultaneously because O'Hare SUCKS), and you have me laughing out loud. Not cool, bro. smile.gif
