Go buy yourself some nice Islay whiskeys, they'll cost the same as that gold label, but are much better. Lagavullin is a personal favorite, but you'll have to try different ones to see what you like best.

Most Charvet ties I've seen are a little too shiny for my taste. I'd rather have 1,5-2 Drakes or any of the affiliate vendors.

Charvet ties are shiny and fat. What's with the TF hate all of a sudden?

This Charvet tie (ignore the suit) aint that shiny...and is one of my favorites. But this one below (also Charvet) scared the living out of some people or caused blindness. Luckily I was able to return the one below.

:fu:

Uh...I think you're thinking of Brioni. TF took over my WAYWRN post and buried it so we're not gonna talk to each other for awhile

If you don't like that suit, rudal, Mexico would be glad to give to give it a home.

It's easy being green.  I have on navy blue socks because I was going to wear a navy blue jacket today.  I didn't have time to change the socks after I changed the jacket.  Brown socks would have been better.

Holdfast, nice trousers, but I'm not feeling them with that jumper. I suspect the jumper is new and you just really wanted to incorporate it into a fit.

Last night I quickly changed ties and PS to go out to dinner with friends, and quite liked the result.

Tie is Oroton, not worn for a long time, but gives a suprisingly nice deep vadge.

^^ Looking good, cox.

AAS and Coxaca, both of those fits are well done.

I'm looking for a nice corduroy jacket myself. So far I've seen a few nice ones from RLBL and J. Crew. Any suggestions?

Damn, it is Fall officially and I just picked up 5 really nice sport coats from Corneliani CC, Zegna (2), Rubinacci and Cantarelli. I'm going to make an effort to incorporate SCs on a weekly basis. Might be my Friday go-to look. Now I need to find some more nice woolen and cashmere pants! I have to say, and most of you already know, Zegna makes nice stuff! I'm also impressed by the fabric and fit of the Cantarelli and Rubinacci. Actually, the Cornelliani ain't bad either!
