Fantastic Crusty! These fits are really making me reconsider kopping a couple solid BD shirts.

Also wearing a Yellowhook tie today, and absolutely love the fuzzy wool. A very unique material, and the colors are perfect for future shooting outings.

Went out tonight with some work friends. T-shirts are the standard fare and a polo shirt is getting "dressed up." I am constantly walking that fine line of trying to dress how I'd like without being "that guy." I also love wearing ties which makes this even more difficult. Really wanted to give this recently thrifted camel hair SC a shot tonight. Let me know where to improve!

Welcome!
I think the biggest problem is the trousers...far too long and baggy...have them taken up a couple inches and slimmed just a tad and have them pressed. The fit of the jacket isnt great, but not atrocious. If youre on a budget, i think the cheapest/easiest fix would be the adjustments on the trousers and swapping out the tie for a solid knit or grenadine. With those fixes, the issues on the jacket wouldnt be QUITE as noticeable. Maybe have the sleeves let out a tad and youd be pretty good to go. Id say with $50 in tailoring and a $15 knit tie (if you dont have one) from the tie bar......youd see a huge difference.

wow. killed it HF. Although i do prefer the fit you left the house with. I just cant abide with this "no pocket square" nonsense. wink.gif

Thanks! I also unbuttoned the shirt collar compared to the challenge fit. :D

This is the normal walt. It was a little slim in the quads, but my tailor was able to amend that a little. I think I'll go with the rudy fit next time though, as it is easier to take in than to let out.

Wow Holdfast, this is top drawer stuff. It is my favorite post by you to date. Really, really handsome suit!

Terrorsquad, best first post ever!!!!! Awesome.

Derk, that tie is great. Love the color and texture. I'm also a big fan of peak lapels so thumbs up on the SC as well!

This is some good shit, and would be even better shit if you tighten that tie.
