Thank you everyone for your kind comments and thumbs for the last couple of fits. The colder weather has brought out some lovely texture, colour and pattern combo's.

Thanks for the thumbs up for my security guard blazer/gray pants fit, guys! I guess stitchy didn't care for it since he neither thumbed nor spoilered it in a requote. eh.gif Harrumph.

Indeed, I reside just south of stitch in Charm City here in The Land of Pleasant Living. The event that I attended last weekend was so tightly packed, schedule-wise that I was unable to make time for any GTG activity from SF or my other interwebz haunt. frown.gif

I thrifted a Jack Victor in navy with that pattern for a family member. It looks rather good on him as well. I was wondering if that style stripe had a special name other than just "pinstripe"? Just asking if anyone happens to know. satisfied.gif

Hi, all. Some great outfits and honest feedback in this thread. Hope a newbie is permitted to share? (I have thick skin and would love some critical feedback!)

Went out tonight with some work friends. T-shirts are the standard fare and a polo shirt is getting "dressed up." I am constantly walking that fine line of trying to dress how I'd like without being "that guy." I also love wearing ties which makes this even more difficult. Really wanted to give this recently thrifted camel hair SC a shot tonight. Let me know where to improve!

Jacket looks like it doesn't sit right to me. Shorter in the rear, having trouble covering your seat. Pants a bit long, could use a quick iron. I think a OCBD and a fuzzy knit would work with that SC to.

The pants need to be taken up a little bit to get rid of some of that puddling, and I would have them tapered slightly from the knee down. I'm not sure how true to color the shirt and is, but right now the bright blue, striped tie, and muted colors of everything else aren't really working. The jacket fits pretty nicely for being thrifted, and a knit tie or a grenadine with a simple, muted color shirt would work nicely.

All of those things, plus I hate your socks.  Which might seem trivial, but some of us take that detail terribly seriously. Also, walk into the light of the pocket square.  But overall, really you look rather good.  I like the jacket a lot, although a touch sloppy and short in the sleeve to my eye.  The monks are a perfect complement.  Oh, and welcome. :)

The colors work pretty nicely to my eye, but I'm really curious about the trousers. Are the sleeves a touch long, or is that just the position of your arm?

Fantastic Crusty! These fits are really making me reconsider kopping a couple solid BD shirts.
