I generally don't like herringbone sports coats but I'm kinda feelin that one.

The shirt is too similar in scale though. And a mostly white check shirt belongs in a different context than that SC. it's better with a blue blazer or blue suit.

Pocket square has nothing to do with anything. I'd go with a solid blue shirt and an earthtoned square.

Suit - New & Lingwood
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - BB
Cufflinks - London Badge & Button Co.
Braces - Lewin
Shoes - Harris, via Barney's NYC

What a great fit crusty!

I know it is not to everyone's liking, but I really dig this tie.

niidawg3, had to add an additional comment to the many-- that DB looks great, hall of fame style as per your usual. fit, shoulders, everything as it is SUPPOSED to be, really great man! hope you'll continue more frequent posts.

I seem to have missed it, did niidawg3 identify the make of this suit?

Meh... not as bad as I thought. Maybe it was just the other monitor I was using at the time.

I am still, however, a horrible photographer.

Hells no. There are so many denim options is makes me sick. Further, Jeans are not supposed to fit like bespoke trousers; buy em slim and real snug because they'll stretch and eventually fit like a glove.  You just need to take a day and try on all kinds. Start with APC. Generally a good option for those just getting into denim.

After my one moment of triumph (eight thumbs and counting), seems my more recent efforts have lapsed back into the more familiar vortex of despondency and thumblessness. Oh well. Try, and try again.

Here's today's Saturday-semi-cazh fit. Sans tie - although had I been in possession of a plain navy grenadine, things might have been otherwise.

SC: Gant

Shirt: Oxford

Over-exuberant PS: Herringbone
