I've told you before, but I will tell you again: I don't, i.e. do not, own cargo pants. smile.gif

That is a nice casual look NOBD. What brand(s) of jeans do you like?

I hate them all, because they never fit just right in all areas. smile.gif

Damn, so the only way to get a decent pair of jeans is to go bespoke.

I'm not above having jeans tailored. In Dubai almost every designer brand of jeans offered tailoring. Not so in the U.S. apparently.

Trial and error (with OTR) is the only way, I think.

I had just 1 minute to figure out which tie would go with this and mustered this atrocious look. 1st question is does this work and 2nd question is if this doesn't work can a red tie do? This isn't what I usually wear to work but I said eff it, it's Friday~

IMHO that shirt is quite nice and could be worn with a dark, non-patterned suit or jacket, and maybe a plain navy grenadine or knit tie. That tie doesn't work with it though.

Third day in court.

Feedback anybody?

Day of firsts today. First outing for this new light blue shirt with a subtle windowpane check, which I picked up on special from the Canali boutique during the June sales; first time wearing this belt; and the first time I have ever attempted a pocket square with a TV fold. (The PS is a very light blue.)

Suit and shirt: Canali

Tie: Herringbone

PS: Henry Carter Irish linen

Belt: Uniqlo

Socks: Bresciani

Shoes: Carmina

First time ever attempting a TV fold? Madness! That style of belt is inherently casual and it's probably best not to wear it with a business suit. Lastly, that tie dimple might just take the cake for the wimpiest I've ever seen. laugh.gif

I think that belt goes better with jeans...
