Yeap. Thru my mind corssed: "My fit is not as loud as SB's fit, so here it goes." lol8[1].gif

You guys are my hero's and inspiration.  I thought I was a decent dresser.  But I realize that I have a ways to go to even consider posting any photos.  But, I will one day.  At this moment I have several items to fit my body structure better.  But you guys has definitely made me aware and understand how to pull together different pieces.  As well as how make a suit look dam good.

Happy long Labor Day Weekend, y'all.

I like this look in general, but a couple of things bother me.  I don't think the pocket square works.  It echoes the colors of the outfit, but it is just too dark.  It disappears in front of the navy jacket.

The shoes are gorgeous, but I think a navy blue or dark brown pair would have set the fit off better.  I think the burgundy clashes a bit with the red.  The shoes seem almost purple to me, but that may just be light balance issues.

The tie knot is beautiful, but it looks "formal" in comparison to the rest of the outfit.  I know that Spoo ties a four in hand, but it is much larger and more cylindrical than most four in hands I see.  It looks very much like a half windsor to me.  I think a smaller more subdued knot would look better here.

Lastly, I believe in the full body shot.  I'd love to see one of this outfit and all Spoo's outfits for that matter.  Closes up of top, middle, and bottom force us to put together a virtual full body in our minds that don't often echo reality.  Full body pics don't lie.

Of course tastes are like asses, everyone's got one...

I agree on his fit. I don't know how he does it, but it's always spot on. I guess he has a tailor who knows him well.

Not feeling this. The jacket doesn't work with the rest. But I do like the jacket itself. In fact, I kinda want it.

I gave away my last purple tie to the Caritas thus I won't classify as Friday challenged today even if this means losing the preferential parking spot.

In the words of warren zevon, my colour calibration's fucked up.

Sweater is burned orange and shirt is palest of blue university stripe and not the teal it pretends to be. Last picture's cool, though.

Clapeyron, that's a cool, breezy fit. Not sure I'd wear those shoes with it but it looks good on you.

DC, did you have those buttons relocated rather than having the jacket altered? Something seems amiss with the button placement and lack of overlap on that db.

Yes I changed the position for 4 cm. There was not much reserve on the side stitches.
