This is fantastic stitchy. I was going to say I might try it with brown socks just cause I am like that but the navy socks really bring out the color in the shoes. FANTASTIC

I'm a big fan of this suit, SB - quick question, though - are the flaps tucked in on purpose, and if so, what's the reasoning? I'm seeing this more often on here, and it makes me curious. I've also just picked up some pants from alterations that I'm trying with a 1 3/4" cuff, cuz I like the look. Is that what your cuffs are here?

thank you very much, j. i really wanted to go a different way with the socks, and had my plans set on some brown socks, but i decided to keep it sedate this time. next time tho, ill go back to more "fun" socks.

Superb jacket, my friend. May I ask what the cloth is?

Betel, love the pieces used to put this fit together. Great SC,shoes, pants, etc. Just seems to need a darker center (tie) to give it more "punch".

Stichie, you already know how much I hate "fun" socks. Anyway, the socks with today's fit were just fine....satisfied.gif

Stopped in the Billy Reid store in Nashville this weekend. Cool place. Some nice fall SC fabrics if you're into a little shorter jacket. I bought this tie. It appears this is the only suit I am wearing these days.

Thanks Mr. Díaz! About the cloth, I don't, tag says 100% wool. It's from Ermenegildo Zegna. shog[1].gif

Yep, they're intentionally tucked in. I go back and forth on doing so, but I generally prefer the sleeker look with suits. The cuffs are 1.625" (just put a ruler on 'em). I typically go with 2".

Betelgeuse, that look is a solid blue shirt away from icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
