no. Might try a black, burgundy, brown or dark gold tie.

westpoint, please use the spoiler function.  the forum software also allows us to quote several posts in one post.  all you need do is hit the multi button for each post you wish to comment on.

Ok yes I am the rookie. I guess the multi button doesn't work on iPads. I was hoping there was a more efficient way of giving a response/opinion. Is there an app for style forum?

WPK, you can multiquote in the mobile version of the site. Note that when you tap the quote button, it doesn't automatically take you to the reply box. Keep on quoting posts until you're ready to reply, then click the Quote and Reply button at the bottom.

This may be obvious as well but on the Iphone is the same exact way. So lets please utilize that!

all i see is a stack of "This post is hidden because the user is in your block list. (Click to show)", and then Stitchy's post

and ironically, I'm probably on a bunch of people's ignore list myself! shog[1].gif

Cheers, Kai!

I know this is isn't a cologne forum, but I just got Tom Ford's Tabacco Vanille, and it's seriously strong. 1 spray lasts 24 hours, even after a shower. It's pricey, but it's definitely worth the money. The girl who was lucky enough to enjoy my company last night couldn't stop complimenting me on it.

So, I thought I'd give brown and navy a try. What do you guys think, yes or no? Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Beautiful suit, sort of reminds me of what I am wearing today (although SB, not a DB). Maybe the PS comes off as too light in this fit, but it's hard to say since the photos are kind of dark...

It works OK, but you could do better with, for instance, a dark grey or brown tie. A neat with navy ground could work too, but it would require the right pattern to not come off as too matchy with the suit. It depends on de degree of formality you are aiming for.

Not sold on the tie, but everything else is top notch.

Today's attire was recycled from yesterday - an unfortunate solemn duty, the attendance of a wake for a long-time colleague. I switched out yesterday's dark tie for today's Charvet to lessen the severity of the look a bit.

Suit - BBGF Regent
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Charvet
Cufflinks - Deakin & Francis, via DeNatale, NYC
Shoes - Finsbury, Paris
