Goes without saying that it's a great fit all around. As usual.

Pants are a little bit tighter than the pants from the yesterday suit.

Yes I really like the DB too. Bought yesterday on ebay an Belvest DB suit from an italian vendor.

Finally Friday! You guys got some great jackets! I got to go do some searching and shopping this weekend. New mirrors are coming this weekend so better pic can be taken.
Evan picone jacket. Lost 30 lbs so it needs taken in.
TM Lewin shirt
Van Heusen tie
Haggar pants
Can't wait to get some nicer newer clothes.

Very nice, Mr. DonCologne!

It was very crappy weather this morning, so couldn't resist wearing the new cashmere tie!

Seamasterlux, the pants are too narrow for my taste, but it's a winning look.

Señor Crust, you do Texan very well.

Ebonyman, I would stay away from green ties with that suit. A solid, light-blue shirt with a black knit would be lovely. You could also do an ecru shirt.

Speaking of black knits...

It is a bit loose, but I think it's mostly that I have my head turned.

Thank you Sir. I was beginning to think the pics weren't actually there! I tried on several blue ties and for some reason thought this one was the best option.

Any idea who makes Barney's store brand suits?

Love the jacket.  The red/pink POW is highly underrated.  Excellent pocket square choice.

It varies by line, I think. Their high end recently has been Isaia (at least according to the salesman I spoke to). Others may know more.

SB, I really like yesterday's square.
Coxaca, I like the 3 piece, and I know gingham is a country pattern, but it's too bold with the suit. Try that shirt with a muted herringbone or donegal tweed & see how it works. Or if the suit stays, a smaller pattern might be better with it, like a tattersall.
Ebonyman, your suit fabrics are nice. You would take your outfits up quite a bit if you invested in better ties. Look for classic stripes (since you seem to like stripes) and avoid multiple/varied size/color stripes or fancy Spitalsfield wovens. Start with basic repps and move on from there.
Crusty, it has not been unnoticed that you have been wearing muted ties as of late. I love that. It helps assuage my fiery contempt for those boots.

I've been trying to put together a decent looking shirt/tie combo for this suit forever. I'd appreciate some feedback on the final decision. It ain't easy wearing green. alien.gif I'd actually like to pair this jacket with some navy or tan pants some day.

All cotton suit is from Barneys (who makes their in house stuff?). Made in Italy

You are fast-becoming one of the guys that really elevates this forum. Can't wait to see the sartorial pyrotechnics you pull off in Fall and Winter too. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Awwww shucks! Thanks for that. I don't know about pyrotechnics but Fall/Winter does allow for interesting combinations with the opportunity for layering.

UC, thanks for the input. I am partial to striped ties but I also have an abundance of neat prints. I guess I need to show more variety in the fits I post to this thread.

There's always next week!

Have a good weekend Gents and thanks for the feed back.

ps speaking of feedback, would you suggest I stick to blue ties when wearing olive or ????
