Problem is, it has french cuffs.

What is the problem with french cuffs? Use some silknots instead of real cufflinks and you can use it even with a sports coat and jeans.

The Friday Challenge today is "crazy shoes" and, as the definition of "crazy" was nothing in a conventional color, or, exempted from that, exotic leathers, which left me with the selection of a pair of navy suede bucks (not crazy, IMHO), or today's boots (ostrich leg).

As I've not worn these boots in months, it's good to get back into them, and I think that they work (after a fashion) with what I've paired with them. Or, perhaps, I'm merely crazy.

Suit - BB Fitzgerald
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - Drakes
PS - BB
Cufflinks - Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Boots - can't remember the brand name . . .

Spoo, I love the suit, but isn't a wedding tie a bit too incongruent with it?  confused.gif

Thanks - but a blue and white gingham tie is by no means a wedding tie. Its one of, if not the most ubiquitous summer ties there is!

Oh, it looked black and gray here. Is it silk or any other material?

Very nice, obviously, but as I was scrolling down the page, I expected this to be a suit and I think it would work even better as a look if it had been one. Either that, or a more obviously casual jacket (I do appreciate that lots of textural detail is lost in photos though).

Thanks!

The jacket is actually a fresco fabric so typically more a jacketing fabric even if a suit could always be considered nod[1].gif

Here are some details
