I can't disagree. I'm really short on ties toward the country end of the spectrum. The "wonkiness" of the lapels hadn't really registered with me. Too wonky even for a decidedly "country" outfit?

I think he means how the lapels are rolling to the button, which has nothing to do with city/country just fit in general.

It looks like one lapel is pressed for a 3/2, and the other pressed for a 2. Hence, lapel wonkification.

THIS.

52 degrees here in the People's Republic of San Francisco. When the afternoon (gale force) winds kick up, it will feel like it's in the 40s.

Jesus. How did I miss that day in debate class?

FWIW, I think he's correct. Strictly speaking, facts are just theories that are widely believed to be true.

You mean like how the earth stays between 91 million to 94.5 million miles away from the sun as it makes its yearly elliptical orbit? :sly:

Too Sun-centric, and several pages late.

He's not saying that. He's saying that such opinions are inherently subjective, but if he hectors everyone into agreeing with him (or to give up arguing), the concurrence of subjectivity makes the opinion practically objective.

Think Ptolomaic System.
