I have serious trouble fitting into the upper portion of RTW pants and MTM doesn't help much. Got a wide lower waist (you might call that a gut, though it's not exactly the same thing), leaving a lot of empty space at zipper level which wrinkles in unsightly ways when not standing perfectly straight. Those that have undergone dramatic weight loss might identify the problem.

Maybe you need to grow some balls? Kidding. I lost about 100 pounds and I have no idea what you mean, lol.

Surely it is stylistic, but you could argue it is there to put a boutonniere through. The second buttonhole replaces the bar tack on the underside of the lapel. I don't like it.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I lost 130, and I'm talking about those last remains of junk in teh trunk which are almost impossible to get rid of, together with too much skin... I wear my pents over that and thus there's empty space below, just  like wearing pents over a beer gut.

Stitches, in another thread you labeled that shirt as purple gingham. It isn't technically gingham it is sheppards check. I don't care for that tie with it, the shoes and socks are fugly, mang.

Yep, definitely not a gingham and much more of a shepherd's check (with a bit extra added on top). For me, the tie more or less works; I don't think it would have with a gingham. Not a fan of the socks, but the shoes are fine IMO.

The shoes are awesome. PB doesn't like anything but black. <sarcasm>He obviously knows NOTHING </sarcasm>

The shirt is for the Friday Challenge, right?

Edit: I basically agree with HF 100%.

HF - ordered the belt already. Swatches for the suede are on the way!

I've started getting jackets without lapel buttonholes to be contrary.

I'm seriously considering the possibility of a jacket without pockets. I probably won't go through with it because it'll end up looking either very fashion forward, awful, or both. Also, if I have side pockets but still have a breast pocket, it might look even odder. Still, something for me to think about.

The color has got nothing to do with it. If you notice I have been commenting and recomending things all morning that I, myself, wouldn't wear. Doesn't mean I don't know how to help people frame what style they are striving to achieve. But those shoes... the punching in a V shape is weird AND it is a monk. Just an oddball shoe. Looks like something you'd see at Zara. I don't like the overly dark toe as well. Looks very unnatural.
