They add sophistication. I have a perverse desire to be middle aged.

A perverse lifestyle is one way of getting them fistbump.gif

Indeed, I usually don't compliment a dude's face, but you look bad-ass.

Overall, this is more than presentable; in fact, I like it quite a bit. The only problem that stuck out immediately is the length of your pants -- they look too short.

Welcome! I'm relatively new to posting much (years lurking) but here are my few observations:
1) I'm not a big fan of wide-striped shirts, and in this case the tie and the shirt seem to be battling for supremacy - might have been better to go simple on one or the other
2) The lapel notches seem oddly small and downward facing, giving an almost sad look to them
3) Unbuttoning the first cuff button may catch you some flack 'round here as an unnecessary/trendy move - at least with an otherwise conservative-looking jacket

Hard to tell much about the fit without more pics and your arms unfolded.

His pants look spot on, certainly not too short.

I have to disagree. If you look at the left pant leg, for example, the cuff appears to fall short of any part of the shoe; in my opinion, that's too short.

I was actually referring here to the right pant leg -- my mistake.

Clothes are worn, so it's probably just riding up a little. His left pant leg looks great, it even has a slight break, and I'm assuming both legs are equally long.

I'm loving these navy monks, they instantly transform any outfit from just great to awesome!

Even the left leg looks a bit high for my taste, but I take your point.
