Suit is J. Crew, tie and PS are Talbott, shirt is bespoke from E Edwards Tailor in HK.

Shoes are black RL single monkstrap. Belt is black. Watch is Casio G-shock.

The only thing I don't like is the watch. No socks is preference, and with this fit it doesn't bother me at all. But that G-Shock is beat to shit and looks way out of place here. I'd just as soon use my phone to tell time than wear that thing with a suit. The square is badass icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I totally agree with this.

But my brother suggested this approach to make it symmetrical.

1. While placing the tie around your neck, place it in a way that the split blades on top (that is, the back of the tie on top)

2. Instead of crossing the longer end on front, cross shorter end on top

3. Follow the regular knot steps.

This will add little bit more symmetry and looks better.

The only problem is, this knot will not untie in the usual way.

HTH.

I know this was a few pages back but I have to tip the cap; love the whole thing but the jacket/tie combo is excellent.

IC thanks for the critique.

Agree that the G-Shock is out of place. I broke my all my other watches and am stuck with it until they're repaired. It's beat to shit because my brother wore it through two and a half years of military service.

Thanks for the compliments. re the picture location, I thought the background would make for a more interesting picture. No shame in my game. Okay, maybe a little shame, but not about that.

That's actually the same suit a buddy chose for his wedding party - here it is with some different details. Never really thought about wearing black shoes and pieces with it.

This is a nice combo but if you are going to wear your pants this high, you might want to stick to a slimmer cut.
