One, we have a check (gingham?) tie on a check shirt. Two, the lighter grey works better with the pinks/reds, as the contrast isn't as stark. Finally, %'s ps is more burgundy than orangey-red.
Spoo's outfit is too high contrast, IMO, whereas yours is more muted.
I'm not usually a fan of BDs with suits, but in this case it looks very good. Of course, the size of the collar and proportionate knot have everything to do w it.
While very similar, your burgundy ps ties the combination in a much nicer way that Spoo's. He mentioned that it is red instead of orange and IRL it may look less garish, but at least the way it is pictured in my monitor, your combination looks soothing, while Spoo's appears shocking.

In all seriousness, it seems to me that SF is swaying back from tight clothing and into baggier fits. "that looks comfy" as a comment is gaining popularity, it seems. We'll see in 2 months, I guess.
I've moved in this direction with pants in particular.
Others have hit the nail on the head. Burgundy and pink work better than red and pink. Given the rest of this fit, I would have either done a burgundy PS (I'm sure you can find one in your PS closet...) or a white shirt. o/o demonstrates:
Lufty, that DB you posted a few pages back looked good on you. As always, I prefer your trimmer fits.
Spoo, Mike is right about the red/burgundy/pink problem.
North Americans, are we all feeling sympathetic to looser fits now that we're shvitzing in summer, or is it just that we're all a bit tired of watching what we eat?
This is a very well executed casual fit KtG, well done. Side benefit of the new look is no more helmet head, I might join you in the ranks of the shorn, but thinking of leaving about 1/4" to 1/2"

The pattern on this suit is great, where's it from?
Scabal Mohair blend. Wish I didn't grow so much since I had it made since it's definitely slightly small on me. Still has my favorite fabric out of all my suits/jackets.
