thank you very much, sander. the history is as follows, i tried a bunch of pairings with this SC and most of them did not really fly for one reason or the other. be it the tie, shirt or pants. i really love the SC, but it is no walk in the park to pair it well.

together with my shibumi, this is one of my fave ties. i loves it.

navy socks would have been a good idea.

i like my inverted cap-toes. smile.gif

Yep.  One tie.  Four ways.  Two paisleys and two neats.  It's thinner than I like and is unlined so the knot is weak, but it has a good amount of utility on vacation.

ummmm, no hate, but..... do not want.

So I guess no back center seem? Must be on a side. The fact that it is probably noticeable that it is reversible and such would bother me greatly.

That might just be the best idea ever. I hope it doesn't say there are new posts in a thread, then.

I like your new avatar T1, hadn't noticed it yet! You happen to have full pics of that particular fit?

I dunno, judging by the bottom left pic it looks like the tie has two wide blades, so with different materials on both sides of both blades you get four ties ( hope its at least narrow in the middle to get a knot the right size). Not sure i would have a use for a tie like this even though I travel a lot and like to pack light. It's not like packing an extra couple of ties adds a lot to weight and volume.

The tie has side seams and has four different patterned silks.  I don't like traveling with a bunch of ties.  They usually come out of my luggage wrinkled and rumpled.  I usually roll them up and try to store them someplace they don't get smashed.  I've tried to lay them flat also, but the same thing happens.  I've seen a few different tie carrier options.  How do your guys travel with your ties?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

What? Seriously?

Get a tie case. Carry four proper ties. Or find a better way to pack them.

Problem solved.

Stitch said no hate. He's a lovable guy. But I hate that/those tie/ties.

I will admit though, there's a market to be had for a longer, sturdy, tie case. Maybe one as long as the common case, as to prevent the crease from being right in the middle of the tie.

A few options for packing ties while traveling:

I take grenadines which are very hard to wrinkle
If I'm packing shoes I might roll one up and store in each shoe.
If I'm taking a hanging garment bag I might roll into a loose oval which fits around the outside of the shoulder pocket of the garment bag (the pocket in the angle between the upper corner and the shoulder of the hanger) the inner oval is a good size to hold a few pairs of socks or my cuff link case or whatever
I got a cylindrical pleather tie case from The Tie Bar which can hold two ties
I got a traditional long rectangular leather Coach tie case off eBay which can hold six ties

Never get wrinkles and rumples with any of the above options.

Nopes. It was an editorial shot for my last collection.

Here are the rest

AAS - that tie is an abomination.

I can understand space being limited for shoes - they take up a lot of room, but ties do not and bow ties even less. I just roll up my ties and place them neatly in a old shoe bag. It works fine. Never had a problem with wrinkles.
