HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 3634

I'm 6 foot 2 with a long neck. Low collar bands are the pits for blokes my height. I see what you mean about the stripes, but it is what it is. I'd rather that than look like longy the long neck.

I am a 42 chest and 33 waist (not a huge drop) but that may account for it. The sleeves are an optical illusion of the angle, about .5 inch of the shirt sleeves peeks through though they could be a tad shorter I suppose for some tastes.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, I think this has been brought up before over in MC:Casual some time ago. Citan, like I, has broad hips which emphasizes the waist taper.

I don't think it's too big of a deal IMO, still a great fit!

Not exactly a CBD CM fit, but it was comfortable nonetheless...

The cardigan and shirt are from Inis Meain, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite manufacturers.

New MTM suit from Tiberias Clothing:

Crappy iPhone pic in poor lighting, so the colors are off. Suit is navy, shirt is a light blue hairline stripe. Overall, I'm very pleased with the fit of the suit. It needs to be pressed, though. blush.gif Tie is a Hober grenadine, and the shirt is from Tyrwhitt.

stitchy has a giant head. a HUGE tonka toy head. his head to body proportions are like a midget only he's full sized.

agreed. I prefer a higher collar for this reason as well. BFAM to all the giraffe necks.

Shoulders and sleeves look nice, but the jacket is quite short, no?

It is a bit on the short side, but I think the angle of the photo makes it appear even shorter than it is. Still, I wouldn't mind if the jacket was perhaps a cm longer.

I never understood the whole collar-face balancing act people like to bring up. I personally think, regardless of head shape and neck size a higher collar, just below the adam's apple and a spread collar looks best on anybody. Point collars can look good, but when you see the points of the collar I think it looks sloppy. In rare circumstances a point collar can have the points hidden under the jacket's lapels, but they are usually long points to the point where the shirt looks like a period piece, or contrived.

Like something from the future?

Seriously though, I do think that a *medium* spread looks good on just about everyone. For a while though, I saw tons of wide spread, even cutaways. If you've got a rounder face, those are not doing you any favors. But yeah, a good medium spread pretty much always looks good.

Nice suede shoes at the beach strikes me as one of the worst ideas I've seen in a while.

Fun fact: The director of Johnny Mnemonic is also the artist who did this, which was on the wall of PB's apartment in the American Psycho movie.

I agree with you on loafers nearly as much as I disagree with you on chukkas :-)
