Thanks D.

Jacket is from Suit Supply of all places. I received a gift card from a friend and went in thinking there would be nothing that fit or was to my liking as I've felt their offerings have sleeve pitch issues historically (usually wear custom). I threw on the pictured Linen/Wool number to gauge the fit of a 40 reg and I knew it was a keeper. Shirt is Howard Yount's new chambray offering.

I was told they are releasing a full canvas line on the fourth floor of their SOHO store.  That could be interesting. I like the washington fit in the heavier fabrics, I cant wear anything else by them.

Nothing wrong with that. I have several RLP half canvas jackets, but, I admit, my Sammy and other custom jackets have me expecting full canvas for anything north of a grand. Assuming SS new full canvas will be up in that realm.  If you'r ever in NYC, check out the SOHO store, they've got everything.

i need to check it out...the atlanta store is pretty dope for sure. Of course at that price (1K+) id definitely expect full canvas....but at the 300-500 range half is perfect...and i dont get TOO picky on the canvassing....buttons though...thats my biggest gripe with SS. shitty buttons!

Casual Friday! Put in the PS after work, cause I needed my square fix. Btw, thanks for all the thumbs up on my last fit. Does that mean SF doesn't mind me posting my rather boring CBD outfits?

I have not but I shall on my way home from work Monday. I wonder if they carry @ the SOHO store and the rep just didn't know this? He had said they were doing a "new" canvased line on the fourth floor.  Perhaps he was referring to an evolution to the La Spalla?

I would like to say well done to all of you who are posting photos of your educated (in same cases not read enough on matter) dress effort and managing to raise bar for great style in it' own panache....sadly some with less success than others

....For others the one with less success and sartorially challenged with lack of color and pattern coordination please do go back to basics and read upon matching textile pattern and colour.

I do understand that this hobby has to take it's financial toll but simple mix of whatever is not nice so please use examples of well dressed chaps here and spend some time in analysis of materials, length of trousers and SJ ,colour, type of shoes materials and thickness of soles.

People are putting effort of providing close ups photos.... so use it. Please take this as a friendly advice in order to improve your less read or perhaps just lazy and well intentioned- but let down choices.
